Individual Therapy
I work with individual clients with a variety of challenges and strengths. Some areas that I am particularly passionate about working with include women’s issues as well as individuals with a history of trauma. Services in Spanish & English
My family immigrated to the United States 34 years ago from Peru. I am fluent in both Spanish and English and I am proud to be able to offer therapy services in both languages. The ability to do therapy in your primary and native language is powerful. No matter how fluent you may be in a second language, there are times when only your first language will actually convey exactly what you are feeling and experiencing.
Telehealth Services
Avondale Counseling Services offers both in-office and virtual sessions. For many clients, Telehealth provides not only a safe option during the uncertain times of COVID-19, but there is also a level of convenience and comfort. If finding your keys and commuting in Atlanta traffic is not your cup of tea, then Telehealth may be a great fit for you!
Supervision
Michielle provides supervision for individuals seeking LPC licensure in the state of Georgia. If you are in the process of working towards your LPC and are looking for clinical supervision that allows you to feel connected, cared for and supported, then reach out for a consultation about supervision services.
Fees & Insurance
Individual Sessions
$165 for a 45-minute session
Insurance & Sliding Scale
ACS does not accept insurance at this time. If you are in need of financial assistant, a tiered sliding scale has been set up for those in needs. With a nonprofit background, I am sensitive to the need for quality therapy services that are accessible to everyone. Please reach out to discuss this option.
